Philomena Commons is a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist working in Leeds and is an Associate Lecturer in the Faculty of Health at the Leeds Metropolitan University. She is an instructor for the Mckenzie Institute International.  In addition to extensive clinical experience in UK she has ten years experience of working in Bangladesh and her main interest is the development of appropriate physiotherapy services in the field of disability in developing countries.

Description of Course:
This four-day (28 hours CPD) course focuses on the cervical and thoracic spines. The course includes the application of the McKenzie method in the mechanical diagnosis and treatment of problems in these regions of the body. The Certification will be provided by McKenzie Institute International, New Zealand.

Date: 13th -16th April, 2009. (8Am to 5 PM, daily).

Eligibility: Physiotherapists / Physiotherapy students/ Other Health Care Professionals.

Seat Allocation:  50 seats only.

Course fees:
With in 15th December

For Others: 40,000 BDT or 575 USD                                    

With in 15th January

For PHYSIOBD/MTFI Members: 40,000 BDT or 575 USD
